Sitting here on the day of the historic EU Referendum, that will decide whether the United Kingdom remains in or leaves the European Union, it would be remiss somehow, to not attempt to write something that will greet you as you awake to the news of how the nation has voted.
I am not here to persuade, promote or politicise what I have to say.
I am here however, to encourage you that however you voted, and however you feel about the outcome…
…Today is a New Day and one in which we need not fear for our children, nor our finances, nor what any one organisation can do to harm us – irrespective of whether we thought that government or campaign was for or against what we believe.
I have written similar sentiments before – even quite recently – that fear is no way to live a life worth living. Here are just some of the words that I personally try to live by and the rest is not in my hands and never will be:
Love
Hope
Faith
Integrity
Loyalty
Generosity
Courage
Persistence
Optimism
Passion
Compassion
So, irrespective of whether the way you voted is where we stand today as a nation, why not make a short list of just some of the words you would rather live by.
